And the oat...well, i had to use only regular flour. And the oat bran-oat mix I found probably had more oats than bran. I don't know where to find almond milk here, so I just used regular. And I didn't have quite enough applesauce. But I'll still try again... Thanks for the recipe.Lois Thorpehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10957285495286484500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8755372232615478610.post-10325339763134992892008-04-10T12:45:00.000-07:002008-04-10T12:45:00.000-07:00The oat bran and whole wheat flours do make a much...The oat bran and whole wheat flours do make a much more dense muffin than all purpose white four would.Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16626275613516519264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8755372232615478610.post-42519583787764835172008-04-10T12:35:00.000-07:002008-04-10T12:35:00.000-07:00I'm so sorry! I have subbeded all of the honey for blue agave with no problems. They're not huge & fluffy, but I wouldn't call them dense. Maybe a touch more dense than cake. ??? What sub's did you do?

I think I used more like 1/4 cup applesauce and 2 TBSP oil. The original recipe calls for 1/4 cup veg oil.

PaulaPaulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16626275613516519264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8755372232615478610.post-27764329954187939722008-04-09T22:06:00.000-07:002008-04-09T22:06:00.000-07:00so I made these last night... with several substit...so I made these last night... with several substitutions. but they were a little dense, which I didn't expect even with the subs. did you try them yet? how did they turn out?Lois Thorpehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10957285495286484500noreply@blogger.com
